The Role
Sunbit is seeking an Information Systems Engineer to own and evolve Sunbit’s core identity, access, and business systems. This role is responsible for administering, integrating, and automating enterprise SaaS platforms while ensuring strong security controls, compliance alignment, and high system reliability.
You will partner closely with Security, Engineering, Data, Product, IT, and Operations to deliver scalable systems, streamline workflows, and support a fast-growing organization.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Administer and optimize Okta including SSO, MFA, lifecycle management, Workflows, SCIM, and security policies
- Own identity governance processes including onboarding/offboarding, access reviews, and role-based access controls
- Serve as an escalation point for complex authentication, access, and system integration issues
- Manage and support enterprise platforms including Salesforce, Jira/Confluence (Atlassian), Cloudflare Zero Trust, Slack, Google Workspace, and endpoint management tools such as Intune or Kandji
- Partner with system owners to improve reliability, performance, and user experience across Sunbit’s SaaS stack
- Design and build automations and integrations using tools such as n8n, APIs, scripts, and webhooks
- Reduce manual processes and improve data consistency across systems
- Support new system implementations and third-party integrations
- Improve Sunbit’s security posture by enforcing least-privilege access and secure configuration standards
- Ensure systems align with Sunbit policies and regulatory requirements including SOX, PCI, HIPAA, and protection of PHI/PII
- Document system architecture, workflows, and runbooks in Confluence
- Collaborate with Security, Engineering, IT, and Operations on system improvements, incident response, and new initiatives
- Support business teams with system enhancements and technical guidance
Requirements
What You Bring
- 4–7+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, IAM, Business Systems, or IT Engineering
- Strong hands-on expertise with Okta, and experience supporting platforms such as Salesforce, Atlassian, Cloudflare, and Google Workspace
- Solid understanding of SAML, OIDC, OAuth, SCIM, device posture, DNS, and zero trust concepts
- Experience building integrations or automations using tools like n8n, Tray, Workato, or scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
- Proven ability to manage projects and deliver improvements in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Okta and/or Salesforce certifications
- Experience with Slack Enterprise Grid, CrowdStrike, Meraki or Fortigate, Zoom Phone, or AWS
- Background supporting high-growth, multi-team, or regulated environments
How We Pay:
- We believe in paying fairly and equitably based on a number of factors including but not limited to previous experience, relevant work history, interview performance, geographical location, internal equity, and expected level of ownership.
- We are targeting a salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per year for this role
- This role will also be granted company equity via stock options
