Associate Rewards Program Terms and Conditions

 

What is the associate rewards program?

This program offers you the opportunity to earn rewards for each eligible My Melrose Credit Card application in which you are selected by a consumer as the “Store associate” or automatically associated via your Lanyard QR Code.

What is the reward?

The reward is a $5 (USD) electronic gift card provided to you through Tango. Tango offers electronic gift cards to popular retailers. For a list of currently participating Tango retailers, please visit https://www.tangocard.com/reward-catalog?rewardcountries=US&rewardcategory=gift+card.  This list is subject to change. Those who earn a  reward may only get a gift card from a merchant participating in the Tango program at the time the reward is redeemed. Sunbit reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a similar gift card provider for Tango or a similar gift card offering.

What is an eligible My Melrose Credit Card application?

An eligible My Melrose Credit Card application must meet the following criteria:

1. Your name must be selected by the consumer in the My Melrose Credit Card application field “Store associate” or the consumer must scan on their personal device your Lanyard QR Code, which will direct the consumer to, and automatically associate your name with, the consumer’s My Melrose Credit Card application.
2. The consumer must complete the application. 

Who can earn a reward?  

Any person who is at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in the state or jurisdiction in which he or she resides) and a legal resident of one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia can earn a reward. Only persons who have completed the Sunbit Associate Training Program and who have a valid email address on file with Sunbit may earn a reward.

Employees, officers, and directors of Sunbit, Inc. or any of its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, promotional, fulfillment, and marketing agencies, and members of their immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings and children, regardless of where they live) and those living in the same household are ineligible.

How do I start earning rewards?  

After you complete the Sunbit Associate Training Program and provide Sunbit with your valid email address, Sunbit will create a unique identifier for you. The unique identifier will enable you to earn rewards for each eligible My Melrose Credit Card application a consumer completes in which the consumer has selected you as the “Store associate” on the application or from which the consumer was directed after having scanned your Lanyard QR code on their personal device.

How do I get my reward?  

Each month, you will be notified via email if you have earned rewards through the program from the previous month and the amount of any such rewards. You are solely responsible for providing your correct email address to Sunbit. Sunbit will not be legally responsible for loss or failure of delivery of the reward if the correct email address is not provided.  Sunbit has no further obligation once it issues a reward to you.

What terms apply to your use of Tango?

Your use of Tango is governed by Tango’s terms and conditions, which are available at https://www.tangocard.com/legal/terms-of-service. Sunbit is not responsible for any problems you may have with Tango. Questions about their specific services should be directed to Tango.

What other rules or restrictions apply?

Sunbit’s rewards program is intended to encourage associates to introduce the My Melrose Credit Card to My Melrose customers. Misuse of the program  may result in cancellation of a reward.

Sunbit or My Melrose may, in their sole discretion, cancel, change, amend, modify, or restrict the program, rewards, or any other aspect or features of the program, at any time, without prior notice, for any reason or no reason.

Rewards cannot be earned after Sunbit or My Melrose terminates the program, although you will remain eligible to receive a reward for any eligible My Melrose Credit Card application made before termination.

Sunbit reserves the right to terminate any reward, in its sole discretion, if fraud or a violation of applicable law is suspected.  

Your participation in this program may result in the receipt of taxable income from Sunbit and Sunbit may be required to send to you, and file with the IRS, a Form 1099-MISC (miscellaneous income). You are responsible for any tax liability, including disclosure requirements, related to participating in this program. Please consult your tax advisor if you have any questions about your personal tax situation.

This program is void where prohibited by law.

THE REWARDS PROGRAM AND THE REWARD IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR COVENANTS OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, AS TO THE OPERATION OF THE PROGRAM OR ANY REFERRAL AWARD PROVIDED IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROGRAM, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, RELIABILITY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL SUNBIT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, SPECIAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, REGARDLESS OF THE TYPE OF CLAIM OR LEGAL THEORY ASSERTED, ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH (I) PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM, OR (II) ANY CLAIM ATTRIBUTABLE TO ERRORS, OMISSIONS, OR OTHER INACCURACIES IN THE PROGRAM OR ANY REWARD, EVEN IF SUNBIT HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.  IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF SUNBIT (WHETHER IN CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHER THEORY), ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE PROGRAM OR ANY REWARD EXCEED $100.00.
